It was almost disconcerting how much this story brought up people and events from my late teens/early twenties. Not that I experienced anything exactly like it, but the emotions were so evocative of that time. But. But it felt like it wrapped up a bit too quickly at the end. Going from fear to forgiveness just seemed to happen unrealistically quickly, and I didn't really feel like there was enough insight into Luke and why he should be trustworthy now.
