I re-read this for the M/M Bingo Challenge, and I think it's more a 3.5 star book than the 4 stars I gave it the first time. This time I noticed things that bugged me, like Cameron has been told he almost got mugged walking home one night because he was oblivious to his surroundings. And how many more nights does he walk home obliviously after that? There's at least one night where he's oblivious to his surroundings partially because he's so deep in thought about that warning. WTF? That starts edging up on TSTL territory. Or an infinite loop.I also could never quite decide if Julian really was one of the good guys or not. I think that ambiguity worked for me, though, and was part of what really pulled me into the story.
