I rated this 5 stars the first time I read it but bumped it down to 4.5 with a reread. I still loved it but felt like it was a little OTT, with Malcolm a little too perfect and Cassidy a little too scared. His fear at 18 makes perfect sense, but once he's 26 and his siblings are 18+ that fear seems a little less rational. Not that someone might not have difficulty letting go of such fear, but I guess I needed to see a little more of why he was holding onto it; it was close, but I just wanted a little something more.
