Reread in October 2012 and dropped rating from 4 stars to 3.It was good, but not as good as I remembered. Bad Case of Loving You is a much better dual-doctor romance, anyway. I liked the characters and it was fun to see them figure out how to turn their friendship into a sexual relationship. But I'm not sure how much I believed in them being gay for each other. Even with maybe already being in love before they realized it and pursued a relationship... I dunno, I just read Above All and thought that handled it much more realistically, as did Unacceptable Risk. Those both showed what I thought was more realistic fumbling and or questioning. But despite that, I did enjoy this story. Also, it was a little weird to read about a Zane who wasn't Zane Garrett, especially when he had a few common characteristics. I don't think that made any difference to my enjoyment of the story (or lack thereof), it was just funny.
