This book felt at least twice as long as it really was. I was too frustrated reading it, frequently thinking, "But people don't really think/talk like that!" Of course, it's possible that some people do. But I guess I wasn't really convinced about any of the characters here. If I weren't reading it for Bingo, and it weren't relatively short, I would have DNF'd it early on. I just couldn't get into it or believe in the characters at all.
