It took me a couple of days to read, but I enjoyed it. It struck me as possibly some of the best of what I remember liking about medieval/historical romances: the feisty heroine who is an anachronism for her time and the hero who appreciates her as such. Unrealistic? Probably. But believable in context of the world if it's written well, and since I can believe in dragons and fairies and other less probable things when written well, why not?
